We are connected to these men and they are connected to us in a way that words fail to describe. There are a few things that I'd like to share about the video. First, it was filmed in an ancient cave on Cherokee land. This location, it has been said, is sacred. Though the location is remote and in the forests of North Carolina, it is alive with energy - and seemed like a fitting location to celebrate our ancestors. Second, one of the opening shots depicts a fire. Many years ago, a gay man carried firewood to this cave. Like so many of our forefathers and brothers, he later died of AIDS; filming this was a way to honor his memory and life. And throughout the shoot, this fire warmed the bodies of the two lovers in the film. Third, the models in this video are Jim and Philippe. While these beautiful men aren't porn stars, they are real men with a real connection to each other. In addition to filming content with the porn stars we know and love, it's also important to see other flavors of connection between men - and I was so excited that Jim and Philippe wanted to be a part of the project.
